Subversion Do and Don’ts

When developing on a project with subversion (or any other centralized revision control system) do not:

  • commit without useful log, unless you are not a human (eg: scripty)
  • pass 1 commit/minute commit rate

When developing on a project with subversion (or any other centralized revision control system) do:

  • Test your changes locally
  • Use a staging (devel) server

uCLinux on PSP

Indeed the photo is a total crap. Can’t do much close up with w830i. Anyway, basically the photo shows a recent uClinux for PSP. Kinda thrilling to see the init message scrolling :). Too bad OSK doesn’t work on my PSP. The OSK can be shown but non navigatable. Mouse mode works flawlessly though. I can copy paste text to execute some command. ‘free’ was showing 32MB of RAM. Memory Card mounting is definitely working, as ls can list PSP root folder.
I wonder if we compile more things there. Yes, toolchain is available. Just waiting to be compiled. Maybe we can compile KDE 4 for PSP. LOL. Too good to be true :D

PS:
Still working on Leaf Destruction with Sasuke, Kakashi and Gai. Intense fight!

revvi

If stwn has kupat, then I have revvi. revvi is my new PSP (slim). Bought two days ago (Saturday) after visiting Green Festival. PSP slim 2000 black, 2GB. Changed the background to Debian swirl at once :D. Tested mp4 playback (via VLC transcode — < 320x240 mp4v and < 192 kbps mp4a). Tested mp3 playback (no mp2 support -- just like my w830i). No USB cable included but I managed to use a Canon digital camera USB cable. No linux yet. No internet testing yet, WLAN feature is brilliant coolneess, though keyboard will be missed.

Currently having Fun playing Naruto Ultimate. Jsut unlocked Kakashi and Gai sensei. Superb fighting game. Tried Final Fantasy (I) but lost on my second battle :p.

PS:
- Background is not set to Alphonce Elric of Fullmetal Alchemist. FMA logo fits revvi’s screen very well.
- I’m setting my eye on Bleach

PS:
Judulnya sengaja dibikin bombastis. Mulanya hanya “harga mati” saja.

Scribefire is not f***ing working in FF Beta 5. So I’m manually write my post in my WP dashboard. I’ve tried to do this post twice in Scribefire. Both never made it to this blog. So, I’m pretty pissed off and will left the interpretation of my bash history to you.

Ideas: group thinker

April 6, 2008 · Filed Under General · 3 Comments

Some of you may have been familiar with digg.com. Wisdom of crowd gt loh ;)
So, what’s the idea then? Siapkah anda?
