21cineplex Dapper Widget
Well well, out of the blue, without paying attention to my “journey to the west”, Dapper provides new friendly UI and widget creation support. I am tremendeously happy. The only thing I can think about is how Momon would react to this ;). RSS was good enough, but what about a holy-batman widget?!
Not only you’ve had the option of subscribing to STUDIO (Ambarukmo Plaza 21Cineplex theater) schedule via RSS, now, you can also have a choice to put the schedule on your own site via widget.

Okay, so I’m a little bit confused of where I should permanently put this widget onto. My current layout definitely doesn’t have any space prepared for it. Unless I cut off some spaces from adsense screen estate.
Uhmm, you want to have this widget on your site? Cool. I’m sure it’ll add a value to your site. Think of traffic
Niche one since this “service” is only available within Indonesia’s context. Just go to dapper.net, search for Cineplex21. Pick the “version 2″ version and click “use dapp“. Click on “create widget”. Now, you’ll be facing the widget builder interface. This dapp requires an input, the theater ID that is. You can find it when browsing to 21cineplex.com. You’ll see it in the url bar when you’re reading a single theater page. Yogyakarta has the ID of 238, so I’ll put it in the “set input” tab. Tweak as necessary (use iPod-like UI, change color, etc). And finally click “Get Embeded Code”. Voila, you are ready to go. Put the code within your blogger template or any of your site.
Now, if only I can put my name onto the widget. The content is indeed belongs to 21cineplex website, but the idea was mine I suppose :p.
PS:
The widget still has some sort of flaw. You see, there’s a weird schedule text which is misplaced in the end of the movie list. However, this flaw doesn’t appear on RSS transformation.
