This July edition of Animonster seemed to be a lil bit different than previous ones. Not that I buy it every month :p, it’s just differ than what I usually found. The layout were changed, I like it better. Seemed to be more fluid than previous editions. It felt that there are many new sections, it’s like the magazine got some page addition though I haven’t fully check it. Maybe it’s only my feeling :). Uh oh, and I like this edition editorial words. I hope you guys won’t make it to justify putting more pretty shounen stuff, but more into balance instead.

But there’s some old stuff as well. As usual the cover doesn’t reflect the most exposed story withn the magazine. Yuyu Hakusho (On Stage story) was put as cover image, but got fewer review than Black Cat (On Stage Special story). Why the heck use Yuyu Hakusho for cover instead of Black Cat which fill the Special On Stage. What does special mean?! Further more, the cover image is not .. I don’t know what vocab I could use for it. Not special? To be honest, I wasn’t interested on the cover image when I was in a stall to buy it.

So, what about attribution I mention as title? Well, if you open the magazine at page 90, you’ll found an event report entitled Hikaru Reload: Anime Attack. Sounds familiar? Well, I wrote about it last month. What bothers me is the picture on those article. I’m very familiar with those pictures. Why? Because it was taken from my camera o////o . The sound ninja photo was taken by Gosonx, and I took the Hikaru performance photo. I can’t recall who took the other one (Sakura, Jiraiya, Naruto, and Sasuke) :D. Why there’s no attribution there?

What’s this big fuzz about attribution? Can I just accept it? Attribution means respect. Attribution means appreciation. Attribution represent existence. What would you do if I put your work on my site without telling anything about who made it. Would you be allright. You may be allright. Well, I’m not in the mood for that today. So I wrote this down.

I’m hoping there’ll be no such thing repeated in the future. I’ll mark this as case #1.
