Anime Rip-Off

I bought that Samurai Champloo V-C-D at SGD $26 when I was at Harbour Front heading to Batam. I know I should’ve never bought any VCD, but pardon me, I just cannot resist the temptation to own the VCD. Today, I’ve finished watching it, there’re some scratched picture, language is bilingually implemented with left and right audio channel, subs is in English, picture quality is .. err .. you know it..

OMFG, I’m frustrated. Darn it. It’s only 1-13. I thought it would be completed at those number. Crap, it was “to be continued”-ly cut on a hanging story. Aaarrrghhh *pulling hairs*. Somebody, gimme your XviD Samurai Champloo collection! Yes, that means you!

I wanna see Mugen and Jin!!!

I would say that this is a crossbreed of Gatotkaca, Cardcaptor Sakura, Kamen Rider wanna-be (but rendered as Robocop or Cyclop), and Super Saiya :D

Won’t be such a biggie for you who’ve frequently travelled abroad. Stop here, so you won’t be irritated by this farm boy story.

This is my first visit to Singapore for visiting national University of Singapore and atending CoomunicAsia 2006. To make the story short, I really love the MRT and the crowd of Orchad. People said Singapore will only impress them within their first or second visit. I dunno, it seem that I’ll like it more than just first or second visit. :)

More stories could be read along with the photos I took there. You can start from this picture on flickr. Just for disclaimer, the whole phtoos hasn’t yet uploaded to flickr. My regular flickr account just can cope the bandwidth :d.

Anyone generous enough to buy me a Pro flicrk account? I’ll really appreciate it. *darn Paypal*

I won’t bother dictating how other should live. That comes from the same origin: I don’t mess around with your life, and I don’t want you to mess around with my life. Where are those appreciating thing you’ve had when you talk about humanity?

Site Promotion Ideas

June 23, 2006 · Filed Under Business · Comment

Yep, it’s me again blabbering about my so-called business :p. I started to earn traffic on toukakouka.com, painfully :D. Not many new member yet though. Anyway, back to site promotion subject. I’ve got two suggestions we could use to promote our site. As you may know, bringing initial traffic is quite hard, not to mention to keep the traffic in steady number. Once you’ve made user came to your site, you must make sure they can come back any time soon. Suggestion #1, create a spesific and uniqe content. Kidna rotten idea eh? Yes, it’s a basic thing. You may follow what Oskar has done on his Permagnus.com. There’re many stock related post lately. And it’s a good thing™ ;). May not be so useful for a uber-stock-analyst but may be very attractive for beginner like me :D. And that’s unique!

Touka Kouka: Numero Uno on Google

June 23, 2006 · Filed Under Business · Comment

Well, it seems that touka kouka is indeed a unique keyword. From a link I found in my last visitor stat, toukakouka.com is listed as numero uno on google. That’s rite baby, first page, first item. The service itself haven’t got much user. But, that’s a part of the best thing to experience I suppose :).

For you still new with ToukaKouka.com. It’s a link exchange service provider. It’s a reciprocal one. But, since the link is not rendered one-to-one, it won’t be the same reciprocal exchange you may have familiar with. You can exchange as many link as you want. The code generated should then be placed onto your site. This code will automatically rotated the link registered in ToukaKouka.com. Each impression you made will be recorded as a debt to pay. This debt will be fulfilled by the link owner you’ve displayed. Your link will then displayed on their site. Voila, you’ve got equal exchange! Touka Kouka!

Wait till you see the banner I’ve made for this service. It’s quite nice ;), using Alphonse quote I found in Wikipedia.

Oh My God, have I turned into those people’s downline?! What has struct Toni?!

Muwahahahha. Calm down my friend. Take a breath, and please lemme talk :). As you may have known, I’ve jsut started my Link Exchange program. It was an instant idea, somewhere in the morning. Since the background and goals are definitely classified :p, I can only tell you how am I going so far.

Lesson #1. No, business idea is not the most important aspect. If you’ve thought that your idea is amazingly incredible, please, brace yourself: it not freaking enough. Business idea does give you the first step of making business, but there are more than just that. Recalling the business training given by my office some months ago, there’s also marketing stuff, exit strategy, feasibilty and stuves. There are quite a lot, I can’t recall all of them :p.

ToukaKouka.Com (beta)

Originally uploaded by Framed Geek.

Introducing my first debut to public service business. ToukaKouka.Com is a link exchange service provider. The concept copied the “touka kouka” principle found in FullMetallAlchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) anime. For every impression you made, you’ll have equal impression for exhange. Example: if you display my link (via toukakouka.com mechanism), then I will owe you an impression. This debt will be executed (fullfilled) when someone visit my link.

This is still a beta service, there’re still a lot features to come ;). Such as category, or even paid member for extra benefits ;). So, what are you waiting for. Get youself going and promote your link for free.
