Talk is cheap, show me the code
Yep, I watch the whole 11 episodes (@ more or less 1 hours), straight in a night :D. Densha Otoko, has a interesting plot. Not to mention if you’re a geek or an otaku. It’s afiction drama based on a true story in Japan. It shows how a social live could happen underneath the geekiness and nerdiness of an otaku. Recommended for you who never know what otaku means, and may raise your humanity feeling: they are human and they have some interesting thing you may never met on a normal person.
I’ve said it all, it’s a romantic entertaining dorama. It has a very high concentration of typical anime expression. If you love Japan, you like romantic dorama, you’re an otaku or a geek or someone doesn’t know what otaku is. And if you love to see not so japanese but pretty actress :D, you will watch this dorama!!
Hermes-san … Benoist!!!! Minna, I want that action figure of Getsumen Toheiki Mina!! Kawai neeeee!!

I haven’t seen that drama, but one of my friends in Japan told me all about it. He said that the main character (or at least someone on the show) had a Death Star ringtone (from Empire Strikes Back). I used to have that ringtone on my phone, so my friend kept teasing me and saying I was an otaku after all!

tarie-san, you live in Tokyo? :(( I’m so jealous of you.
Well, doesn’t know much about nihonggo doesn’t mean you can not love it rite. Afterall, the DVD has english subtitles to help us understand :D. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve ranted and almost cry :p when I haven’t found a way to display the subtitle for Densha Otoko.
Say, tarie-san, how is Tokyo? Kawai desu ka?

As a matter of fact, I like Tokyo very much. The city is soooo crowded, the train’s station also very crowded, cos almost everybody use train as a public transportation. Inside the train is like in “Jabotabek” train, but here is much more convenient. Everything is in exact time, clean environment and sooo disciplin.
Here, so many dorama is in terebi, but unfortunately i cant understand it….what’s a pity??? even to communicate in Nihonggo, I cant. But for me the nicest place, the warmest place, the most beautiful place is Magelang, my hometown……

@tarie
Yeah, for sure, there won;t be any subtitles for dorama in terebi. Except for NHK, there might be a chance.
Well, Magelang could be your warmest and most beautiful place, but does it have any sakuras, yukata, kimono, akihabara, shibuya? :p :p

In Tokyo, snow only fall in 2 days, the rest of winter season is full of cool strong wind. Snow is very nice, but I cant afford the cool weather. So complicated, right?????
