new monitor

New, in the term of just been replaced with other used monitor :). However, it’s so damn crisp compared to my old Samsung, which is seemed to be applying blur effect with 2-4 pixel coefficient each time.
I’m freaking shocked :D. I’ve never seen this kinda crisp display, except on a laptop (no question asked). It’s been like 2 years or more? Since my first day in this office, I’ve been making love with that broken Samsung.
Welcome, my lovely 15″ LG 505G. Thanks a lot for the crispy display :*

Di samping kanan, kiri, belakang meja kerjaku pake LG 505G juga :). Punyaku beda sendiri, GTC Millenia (silver) tapi kalo di kos LG 505G juga (waaa… pasaran). Pada panel monitor GTC Millenia ada satu tombol favorit yaitu shortcut buat degauss. Kenapa favorit? karena kalo debugging project yang ruwet, mumet, stress trus klik degauss biar refresh (orangnya) tapi gak tau ada efek buruk apa nggak buat si monitor :p

Di LG 505G ini ada tombol favoritnya juga looo. Tinggal tekan kalo lagi bete atau boring abis. Bleb, padam deh monitornya. Keren kan?

Ton, elo tanya Mas Endar deh. Di memori pengunduran diriku (hiks.. hiks..) ada usulan yg pd intinya minta monitor buat programmer, SD, SA, diganti ama yang bisa setidaknya 1024×768 @75 Hz vertical refresh rate pada 32bit per pixel. Entah direalisasikan apa gak.
Utk yg urusan degaussing, ntu buat ngilangin interfrensi magnetik di monitor. Sekarang hampir semua monitor yg pake OSD ada degauss-nya. Simbolnya ada magnet U yang dicoret garis diagonal.
Beuh…. jadi pengen punya blog ndiri nih

beuh, tk kira tadi bilangnya jadi pengen punya monitor ndiri :)).
BTW, di monitor yang ini udah pake OSD. Barusan aku cek ernyata juga udah ada degauss-nya (entah apa itu, better check wikipedia right away :p)
Monitor-monitor yang baru semuanya LG. Mestinya juga udah ada degauss-nya soalnya serinya pasti lebih baru dari pada yang aku pakai sekarang.
Soal refresh-rate, ini aku yg gk tau. Kalo monitor ini, dan most other biasanya support 75Hz meskipun harus turun resolusi :D. Klo 1024×768 di 75Hz, gk yakin bisa deh
