Talk is cheap, show me the code
Well, feedmap is kinda cool you know. But, it lacks one thing. It’s not really free. It’s bounded to some copyright. Though, it’s a pretty cool from Microsoft.
So, I just visited feedmap.net for the second time (first one motivated by kusut, and this time referred from aris). Okay, let’s cut the crap. I need a geo location info. Some latitude and longitude number. For you living in Indonesia, you can use information provided by this site (other country nformation maybe available as well). It has pretty complete list of cities with longitude and latitude info. Should be handy to give you a starting point. Then you can adjust the number to precisely show you actual position.
I tried mappoint.msn.com too. It’s cool. You can search Yogyakarta and it will give you a map showing Yogyakarta. Neat. Too bad, there are no latitude longitude information I’m needing.
Last resort: Google is teh Roxorz. I found this maporama site. Put Yogyakarta into it, supply zipcode, country, and then hit the submit button. Voila. A map (though having far away quality from what mappoint has) with longitude and latitude info.
Yogyakarta
Lat-Long:
-7° 47′ , 110° 22′
-7.8 , 110.367
Now, I need to find some free map .. and this one should be a starting point.
Update: Yogyakarta on MultiMap
