Stalled
Yeah, I’ve been thru this kinda situation many times. A situation renders me standing still, without knowing what to do. Bleh, amarok is dead, there’s something wrong with the glibc. Doh, I really need to move into FC4.
It’s still 21:37, it’s too damn soon to go to bed. But since I have nothing in my mind, no code, nothing, I guess I’ll put on my socks, my shoes, and then go straight home.
I hope I can fall asleep rite away. Otherwise, it’ll be terribly hurt (laying on my bed closing my eyes but not sleepy at all)
Kopete Now Listening “Plugin”
So, I’ve been ranting about this all time time in the past. Now I found the answer. Since we have dcop super K power, “Now Listening” plugin is is just a shell away
Enough crap, try this script:
#!/bin/sh
STATUS="(`uptime | awk '{print \$1}'` up) `dcop amarok player nowPlaying`"
dcop kopete KopeteIface setAway "$STATUS"
echo "Kopete Status: $STATUS"
I put that into a ./kopete-status.sh, give chmod u+x, and then do watch -n 5 ./kopete-status.sh.
Voila, I have Kopete Listening to Amarok “Plugin”!
KDE: What’s New in SVN
So, this definitely could be a really great teaser … A quick peek into current SVN trunk. Nothing better than that for any bleeding-edge lover out there.
I don’t have much coment, take a lok at yourself: a new minipager (with icon, not just indistinguishable squares), new taskbar theme for kicker (yeah, i should check the code out: transparent, elegant, classic), and also more feature for Kopete.
God, I love KDE .. early release, release often .. ouch, it’s addictive!!
Company Gathering
Just got back from one day and night company gathering in Kaliurang. My worries seemed to be vain. Instead, the gathering has so been much fun for me. Well, you wouldn’t belive me that I actually dance (horribly) and also act (in a short comedy fragment). And the biggest surprise is: WE WON!!. That means we win the audience votes. Yay!
This is one true happy moment in my life. I’ve never have nice experience with drama thingy (got a fucked one in Junior and Senior High School). Bravos to all Study Group (that’s my group name during the gathering).
One thing I can remember, my firend told me that he couldn’t belive that I could dance (horribly?) like that. You know, I’m a typical shy guy. Well, let’s hope this will be a new beginning for me.
Hmm, I wonder how’s the pictures and recordings would turn out to be. *can’t wait*
Baby, I miss u ..
Update:
Thanks to all participants and also the peoples in charge of the event. Thanks to you all. This gathering has been a great time for me. No doubt, it’ll be in my book of time of my life ![]()
Finally a Plan
Yeah, finally we have a plan. Kinda cool one. Hope everything will goes in the planned path :).
Whoa. Why is this bad mood keep coming at me. Darn .. Now I need to go home. Gotta try to sleep. Though I might not yet want it. Bleah, maybe it’s only some worry feeling, bad thought ..
FUCK.
“No Plan” Plan
Yeah, you can be bored but this bad mood™ will keep coming at ya.
Now, all I wanna have is a peace of mind, thinking of nothing but fun things for me. Outdoor activity? Bleh, so be it .. I don’t wanna to add another spoon of bad mood to my cup.
I hate “no plan” plan. Or, it’s just a recall to my tragedic drama during High School .. Yadda .. Bad times .. Not good enough™ plan or managed plan doesn’t always work, or spontaneus will always work ..
Summon me creativity™! Summon me spontaneus™!
Feedmap Thingy
Well, feedmap is kinda cool you know. But, it lacks one thing. It’s not really free. It’s bounded to some copyright. Though, it’s a pretty cool from Microsoft.
So, I just visited feedmap.net for the second time (first one motivated by kusut, and this time referred from aris). Okay, let’s cut the crap. I need a geo location info. Some latitude and longitude number. For you living in Indonesia, you can use information provided by this site (other country nformation maybe available as well). It has pretty complete list of cities with longitude and latitude info. Should be handy to give you a starting point. Then you can adjust the number to precisely show you actual position.
I tried mappoint.msn.com too. It’s cool. You can search Yogyakarta and it will give you a map showing Yogyakarta. Neat. Too bad, there are no latitude longitude information I’m needing.
Last resort: Google is teh Roxorz. I found this maporama site. Put Yogyakarta into it, supply zipcode, country, and then hit the submit button. Voila. A map (though having far away quality from what mappoint has) with longitude and latitude info.
Yogyakarta
Lat-Long:
-7° 47′ , 110° 22′
-7.8 , 110.367
Now, I need to find some free map .. and this one should be a starting point.
Update: Yogyakarta on MultiMap
Outdoor Activity
Not that I hate it. Well, okay, I confess maybe I hate it a lil bit. No no, not that litle bit. A lil bit more please. Stop. Yeah, that much
Why do I hate it anyway. Maybe I have some worries on how much those activities will demand me of physical and or social skill which I am pretty much lack of. Okay, I completely lack of it.
Maybe if it turns to be fun in the the end, maybe I will not hate it. But how would I know it will turns just fine and more infact very fun?
Have you been thru this kind of stuff? Tell me something, but don’t be a smart ass. I have enough smartass these few days ..

Oh My Sage
Okay, lasy time I complained about Sage stealing my any active tab when I click on any RSS item. I still have mercy on that. Okay, I will wait for some couple on secs to give Sage a decent time to load on a specific tab and then I move to another tab for browsing. Annoying allrite, but that’s just how it worked for me. No real background task!
This morning, I figured out an idea. Why not letting Sage run on different window, that way I’ll get an exclusive RSS Reader. Brilliant isn’t it?
Wrong! So I have these two window, one for Sage, and one for my GMail (reading favorite mailing list
). I clicked on pk.o and then switched to another windows to read GMail. Flap! WTF?!! my Gmail turned into Sage page (displaying pk.o).
And that’s how I decided: I’m done with Sage!
